Frank, I take 100gal on a usual long trip. The math isn't hard.
I've taken to 150 knots true at 55% power on 18 gph, rather than 160 knots, 65% at 20.5 gph.....and I'm always up in the teens if the winds allow.

It's been on and off below $3 in some parts of MO for 4 to 6 weeks now.
About 4 weeks ago the STL area was <$3 ( don't know what it is now). Last week I filled up in Springfield for <$3. Right now it's $3.10ish in my area (CGI).
