Hello everyone.

I am preparing for a CSEL initial ride in a few weeks, and I just wanted to get some insight on how different people study for the oral portion of their checkrides, and see if there’s anything else I should try out. It feels like in terms of oral, the Commercial is a fairly loaded exam. It covers lots of subject matter, and as far as I am aware, instrument stuff is fair game as well since I have my IR. I’ve found the ASA Commercial Test Prep quite helpful so far, but I’ve also been using primary resources (FAR/AIM, POH), the gouge I have on my DPE, and some other things.
What kind of resources did you guys find helpful in your checkride prep?

What part of the ACS indicates “instrument stuff” may be on the oral?
