Is the best move to just do all the questions in exam prep software over and over enough times that you memorize them?

I just realized today how close I am to being done (it felt further off). I have to take a Stage II check ride later this week or early next week, then it's just 1. XC, 2. Long XC, 3. Another local area solo, 4. Mock check ride and then on to the check ride, so I really need to bang out this FAA written. I am flying several days/week, so #'s 1-4 will be completed in short order if the weather holds. Want to make sure I study efficiently and get this exam put to bed. Thanks.

I would say boiling down the knowledge test to an exercise in memorization is definitely a bad idea. I agree that there are some worthless questions in the exam covering some useless topics. But by and large, it covers material that you really do need to know. Learn the material, then it doesn't matter how the questions are worded.
