I was going to make a post so I turned on the voice app on my phone but I hadn't yet muted the Sporty's IFR course video I am watching and the above is what Google made of a line about the ILS.
Anyway, what I was going to say is I think we're being too hard on our sister.

So did she (the student) land the plane in the emergency or did the CFI? Are the "journalists" wrong yet again? (would NOT surprise me)

So did she (the student) land the plane in the emergency or did the CFI? Are the "journalists" wrong yet again? (would NOT surprise me)
The interview with the CFI indicates that it was the CFI that landed the plane and not the student. As far as the media reports, why let the truth get in the way of a good story?
