I believe that the one causing this has been over Chicago. More hot, moist air coming from something from Chicago.

Was this system also responsible for the bad weather on the Oregon coast a few days ago? By the direction of the isobars it looks like they match the track that the weather took.

We got the gusts but they were prolly 25-30MPH and only lasted about a half hour.

Take a look out in the Pacific. 100F today, 80s by Monday, and forecast snow down to 7500MSL on our 10,000+MSL peak by Thursday. Fall has fallen.
