Strobe tube compatibility

Is an aeroflash 12v wingtip strobe compatible with others such as my whelen?
Or you must use whelen with whelen, grimes w grimes, af w af, etc?

While the mounting plug and / or pinout may be different, most higher wattage strobe tubes are compatible.

I don't think I would trust any of the Aeroflash stuff to be used w/ Whelen or Grimes. The aeroflash stuff I have seen is typically of lower wattage and will not survive on a Whelen Strobe supplies. Your mileage may vary!

It was Sylvania many moons ago! Not sure who their using today..Possibly off-shore...
