Stratus ESG GPS Output

I've seen a few threads, but not any conclusions, has anyone here successfully used the GPS position output from a Stratus ESG to another device?

Specifically, I'm looking for ways to get GPS information to an ELT without having to cut another hole in my fuselage (the Stratus Antenna is big and ugly as it is).

That's because you didn't see the RST Engineeering GPS antenna about the size of a silver dollar before you bought your Stratus.

I noticed on another thread you mentioned releasing an antenna splitter. Did that come to fruition?
