Line Up and Wait
I just got my Stratus 2 and probably won't be able to fly with it for another week or so. I bought the suction cup mount as well but after reading a passage in the including manual, I'm not sure I'll get optimal performance when using the HUD/Synthetic vision.
"...For the most accurate AHRD information, ensure Stratus is mounted correctly. Stratus should be mounted parallel with the center line of the aircraft and the logo and LED's on the device should face the back. Refer to the graphic on the bottom of the Stratus for the correct mounting alignment with the aircraft. Mounting Stratus as level as feasible will also help to achieve the most accurate AHRS results..."
Has anyone else with the Stratus 2 mounted with the suction cup and had acceptable results with synthetic vision?
