Strange read thread behavior

5 times today I read a thread and then marked all messages read. Then later in the day when I hit new post that thread would appear again but without any new messages. It has done this a couple of browsers and from seperate networks. Any ideas?

Is it only the threads with a Poll in it? I've noticed that behavior with Polls...

As a matter of fact it is a thread with a poll in it. I wonder if a person votes it marks the thread unread even if they did not leave a new message???

I wonder if just casting a vote in a poll (leaving no message) bumps it as having new posts?

Yup. That's exactly the case.
