How do I remove that program from my computer? it has no uninstaller for removal. removal tools by MS will not remove it.

I've tried the control panel "add and remove programs" and it produces a message 1721

a search does not find any program named STOPzilla, so you can't simply delete it.

and their home page does not give a method of removal.

this program will completely freeze the computer for about 2 hours every Thursday evening while doing its scan, during that period the computer is totally locked up, nothing works. you can shut down by holding the off button for 10 seconds , but when you reboot it starts again and locks the computer again.

Sounds like you'll have to do it in Safe Mode (press F8 while booting your computer):

If you can't get into Safe Mode while pressing F8, use MSConfig to do it (tells your computer to boot into safe mode on the next restart).

P.S.--msconfig is also great for temporarily suspending all those programs that start up when you boot... so on your next "normal" boot, none of them launch. Let's you get some things done without all those "check for updates" programs running, for example.
