STOL suggestion

Really?

So full gross, that's like you, a quasi fat chick, and a couple gallons of gas.

RVs are sweet but they ain't STOL aircraft.

STOL experimental that's going to be a 701 or something of that ilk.

There was also another outfit that made a knock of storch, Thad probably do it.

RV9 with 160hp at full gross T/O 475ft, Lnd 450ft,Rate of climb 1400ft/min, cruise 189mph 6-700lb useful load. If that's not STOL what is? The problem with tri gear RVs is they are not good rough field airplanes. I could routinely make the first turn off at 800' in my RV7 without thinking much about it and using no more than light braking. It would also be off well before that mark even at full gross. I'm just finishing up a Zenith 750 with the UL 350 on it. It will be a great STOL airplane and has a really stout gear. But it is an 85-90mph airplane and really ugly. Don
