Stearman nose-over

Maybe 20 years ago, at a fly-in, a Stearman flipped over like that. The pilot had a photographer along in the other cockpit, and the photographer got nervous during the landing and was pushing against the rudder pedals, hard, which applied the brakes. There was nothing the pilot could do about it.

Unfortunate event,glad they walked away.

Back in the day when Stearmans were the trainer of choice, more people were killed in these type accidents not by the flip over but when they would release their seat belt without a good handhold and fall breaking their neck. Its also the reason you don't bleed all the air out of Stearman brakes....
