Finally the trip to Dayton Wright Brothers was going to happen. Rob (CLR2TKF)and I left Wilmington, KILG around 7:15 instead of 6:30 from Wings KLOM due to the avionics shop not putting the POH back in my plane. Another story for another time. We eventually pointed 08Romeo west. We had to dodge some wx from Zanesville Ohio into Dayton with a few sprinkles approaching KMGY.

We headed over to 40I, Stewart Airport thanks to Steve (A Mile of Runway) and each took a ride in the Stearman. Rob also had some tailwheel time in a Cub while we were there.

Ah thus the Text with Photo. Sounds like you had a blast. Looking forward to a trip report or reading your blog!

What a great Day! Lots of great weather on the way out at 8500 feet and then 6500 on the second leg. A fun day at Stewart flying the Piper Cub and also the Stearman! Then, a busy flight home watching weather and diverting around some uncomfortable looking clouds. Lots to write up when we get the chance. If you are ever in the area of Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport, be sure to stop to the southeast at Stewart Field, great people and amazing planes and history.

Looks like Gary, Steve, and I all have our Blog's updated. See the links in the signatures and in Gary's post above.

Red Board, Blue Board, Purple Board,.. no matter what your color, it's always great to actually get together. This was a great trip and I'm looking forward to the next one now.
