Looking to join or start a 4way partnership in a steam gauge DA40. Cost per share should be 25k-35k and the fixed cost per month around $300 per member. Anyone interested?

Hey Thomas,

No way should insurance be 3k-5k on a DA/40 in that price range regardless of pilot experience. Shop around and take advantage of the DA/40 safety record.

:nono:

I'm in a partnership with a 1975 Piper Arrow and our insurance is just 2k, and the DA/40 has way fewer moving parts. Shop around.

I only chimed in because I wish to see you succeed and not scare off potential partners. :goofy:

Good luck with this, the DA-40 is may favorite newer plane. Unfortunately I'm in NoCal so can't join in on this.

West Valley has some DA40's. I flew one once, with Max Trescott in the right seat.

Most expensive single-engine flying I've ever done. In fact, I'd have to look to confirm it wasn't the most expensive, period!
