Final Approach
I'm sure most of you have seen the vid/pics of our super secret stealth drone that is now in Iran's possession. Definitely looked like it was hacked (or whatever you might call it) and landed or crash landed, as it appeared to be fully intact. If it had a failure and the pilots had to land it in hostile territory, you'd think they would have made sure it became a smoking crater so there was little left for the Iranian's to pick through.
I know there had to be serious encryption and measures taken against something like this happening. The pentagon says they don't think Iran had the resources to do that however. Who knows, possibly they had some help from the chinese or another nation.
This makes a great case for airplanes with pilots. Extreme security measures can be taken, however anything controlled wirelessly has the potential to be hacked. Its a remote possibility but it could be a real disaster if someone could hack one of our armed drones and use it against us. I'm sure those things have the ability to carry a nuke.
