Squawk your parrot

I can't say anything about the history of secondary radar is "awesome."
 
It really is amazing how few things have changed over 70 years in aviation. We've had some major advances in avionics and some minor ones in aerodynamics and propellers, but that's about it.

As I just got finished watching an episode of Sky King. :)
 
interesting they still tell us to squawk but not to strangle. I guess 'squawk vfr' is different than turning off the thang, so, I reckon I answered my own question.

side note....I had a girlfriend once who had 2 parrots. one was the cutest lil thang and the other I struggled not to put it in the microwave on high for 5 minutes. or, you know, strangle it. lil fker.
