- - - can't be far away. Dairy Queen, on the Woolwich side of Bath Iron Works, just opened for the season on January 24. That brought back the longing for summer and http://sheepscotbayboatcompany.com/
The first six photos in the site are mine, and my little 20' I/O cuddy cabin is in a couple of the shots. Rob LeMay: do you remember?

I am quite boggled by the idea of a Dairy Queen that actually has to close for a "season." A friend of mine lives in Bath, and I had no idea she had to endure such hardships.

Actually, this closure is an annual short occasion. The closing usually occurs at the near end of December. The reopening, this year was January 24. On the 24th it was nice not to be in a long line to get my first Blizzard of 2013.

There's one of those things just down the street from me, but they stay open all winter. I do walk down once a month or so during the warm season.
