Spring is Finally Here

Spring's about, so there's no more skiing;
Things are out and so am I for seeing
What needs to be done - the chores to do,
What leads to fun behind doors anew.

On the way outside I saw near the foundations,
First annual pride of Hottaculturist's sensations.
Maybe it's time to be there rolling up my sleeves,
Making the ground bare after removing the leaves.

A short distance away, a few feet across the drive,
With resistance to stay and waiting for me to arrive;
So I guess it's a clue for me to stay at home
With bits to do such as polish the chrome.

Perhaps what should come first is a bit of triage,
For a post-winter hit of cleaning the garage.
With only a week before comes Easter,
It's time for me to get off my kiester.

We had that last weekend. It got up into the 70's. But we are back to snow and winter today.

Can't wait to go kayaking for the first time this season. Didn't get to snowboards this year unfortunately.

It's been Spring here for most of the Winter. But then again, in California, it's expected...

Speak for yourself. Out here in Colorado flatlands it can be 75 one day and snowing the next.

And rescinded. It was 29 degrees here at IAD this morning. Yesterday it was in the high seventies.
