Here we are, in a Maine heatwave(20°, but it's a lot warmer than most of recent); and it's time to think about spring(not having skied yet because the mountains have had too much in the way of icy conditions). So, during a recent blood donor visit it was time to think "warm."
After giving up the blood it's good to pump up the blood pressure. So, scout the territory. Plenty of choices; too much chrome to polish on the Screaming Eagle. Now, the other two shots: ooh! I'm tempted to trade my 883 for the Low-rider. Yup; the blood pressure is UP.

Thanks Harley, I needed that this morning.

Three wks fighting a cold/flu/ galloping crud, haven't been out to the airport in a month, girding my loins for another single digit day out taking care of the barns and their inhabitants. Sometimes it's hard to remember the light at the end of the tunnel has not been shut off to conserve electricity.

- - and while I contemplate the bright sun at 18*, the TODAY show is describing the Texas freeze and the coming storm said to paralyze huge areas of the South. That one is not expected to hit this part of the country. It's been a crazy winter.

Atlanta is preparing for a paralyzing blizzard with almost 2 inches of snow in some areas!! Oh the humanity!!:yikes::yikes: Oh yeah, it will be 60 degrees Saturday! ;)

I've mentally written off February, but remain hopeful for a decent March. Spring thermals, woohoo.

My favorite kind of eye candy! Thanks!

David

Off to the left of this building is another similar sized building which is all rice rocket category machines.

The roads should be OK for the rest of the daylight hours, though I did just see a UPS truck do a little drifting when he crossed the center part of the road. Tomorrow morning may be pretty ugly, once the wet slush freezes.

Set off for home a few hours ago, got stopped by traffic. Many of the main roads are gridlocked. The smaller roads are snowpacked. I'm back at the office. I stopped at Target and bought an air mattress and blanket.
