Before I commit to the DUAL I'm trying to find some verification it will work with garmin pilot reasonably well.

If I can find some sort of confirmation I'll take it

Thanks for the interest but I already have an offer on the Dual XGPS. Additionally, Garmin is a closed system. The Pilot app only works with the Garmin GDL/GLO GPSs.

No problem. For future reference, a DUAL GPS will work with garmin pilot, as I use it very often. For this, I was primarily interested in the weather portion. Whether that works or not would be the deciding factor.

I'm certainly no expert. I wish all the apps and GPS units were interoperable.

Is it just the ADSB stuff that Garmin Pilot won't take?

I've only used it with WingX. So, I only know what I've read on the Garmin and Dual web sites.
