I am wondering if any of you have any experience with Sport Pilot Training in Southern Nevada?

The FBO's I have visited don't seem to have an interest in this training. I really don't want to go to So Cal if I can avoid it.

Any resources you could share would be appreciated.

I don't have any affiliation with these schools, I just did a Google look-up, but it appears there's a few that will teach in a Light Sport / Sport Pilot training. What I found were:

Just a point to consider: If looking at Sport Pilot programs, make sure to ask what rating the CFI has. You want one that has more than a CFI-SP. That way, if you decide to go to Private Pilot, those hours you spent training for the Sport PIlot program will apply to the Private Pilot certificate as well.

Be sure if you go sport pilot, you will be able to rent on a regular basis, after you get the rating.
