I have a spinner and would like to see if anyone might know what it came off of. It is approx 27" high x 21"

I think it is from across the pond because what looks like a date, 22-10-67, is backward. At least I think it is a date, but it could be a part number.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Well... I will got out on a limb and guess that it's for a 4 bladed prop.:D

I think that spinner is from a DC-7. Compare your photo with this.

FWIW, BOAC operated DC-7s in cargo service well into the 1960s.

It looks really similar, but there seems to be a chine or something forward of the prop opening in the post pictures. Perhaps this is from a DC-7 but with props with de-ice boots?

It is the spinner used on the Hamilton Standard, hydramatic propeller used on the 3350 wright and the P&W 2800, 4360.

BOA owned a bunch of them. because they ran all 3 of the engines mentioned.

the Electrical connections are for spinner de-icing. there is a heater blanket in the spinner.
