34V is back in the northwest again. I was working both days on a 170-B that belongs to the ferry pilot that helped the new owner bring it home.
Not that much worse for the 3 years in a hangar.

Who the hell would buck a rivet into a spot weld??

It is a great looking 170 rag wing. The new owner is thrilled to own it, His first aircraft, his first tail dragger, and he got his endorsement yesterday. After he solo'ed it, I asked him "how much fun was that" He was grinning ear to ear.
