Spending 2 weeks near KLOU, anyone fly around there?

I will likely have a temp job near KLOU for the 1st two weeks in July. I am interested in flying in the evenings, after work, if there are options. I also want to continue my IFR training. I see one, rather expensive, flight school on the field. But, I am wondering if folks know of other options, even ones that might be at a nearby airport.

There are a couple of schools at Bowman. Both have well maintained planes are are fairly busy. I prefer Louisville Aviation.

You can also cross the river to Clark County (JVY) but you'll have to pay a toll. Fuel is cheaper over there.

You don't have to pay the toll if get off the interstate - at least you didn't last summer. Will actually be there next week. Parking at Honaker.
