In my e-mail, today:

"Specialty Aircraft will be going out of the parts buisness and holding a
liquidation auction
on July 15th and 16th 2005 Starman Bros Auctions will be conducting the
auction. For
more information call Specialty @ 1 800 500 6786"

Tom Downey may know more; it's in his corner of the country(the Oregon corner, specifically).

I found them, on numerous occasions, to be quick suppliers of parts from the hundreds of salvage category planes.

News to me, but thanks.

Yep, I got the e-mail, too. We sold a damaged 172 to them a few years ago; I guess that's why they had my address.

Richard: That was the plane that a student(with instructor) landed in the body of a truck which was on the runway at an improper time. If I recall correctly, a part of the under-carriage remained lodged in the truck but the plane landed further down the runway. I bought an inside mirror which came from that plane.
