KCRE is a Looong way from here for a burger and no beer. I'm thinking it is more like a mid-atlantic destination than a SE destination. Is the Beechcraft Museum at Tullahoma open? I've flown in there and had pizza delivered before.
no beer??? sheesh, 1) catch a ride with someone, 2) have a beer, wait 8 hours, 4) it's myrtle, grab a hotel for the night, bring ur lady and score some brownie points while enjoy a cold beer!
You DON'T want me bringing SWMBO. Because if she comes, the 10 year old comes. And honestly, they won't both fit in the RV-6 unless I stay behind. So... Long way for a hamburger and no beer. :-(
since it sounded like another stellar turnout, I was fixin to build up some night hours. but how far is KDKX from you?
KCRE would be about a $500 hamburger for me renting the club plane and coming from the Atlanta area. So a no go for me even if the plane hadn't already been rented for Saturday. @eman1200 it always needs to be south or west of you.
KDKX is west of me. GMU is west of me. AVL is west of me. CUB is south of me. LZU is southwest of me.
The grandkids are in town. We're probably just going to burn around over the lake for a bit. Six year olds don't have the longest attention spans.
You didn't mention that CRE is south of you too. I'm grounded for a bit until the kiddie unit decides to get out of college.
