I've been out of the cockpit for 4 years and am looking for some advice on how to get back up to speed for both VFR and IFR flying.
I'm a former MD-11 Captain, and former owner of a C-421 and Eclipse Jet. Haven't touched a throttle for 4 years and haven't done a part 91 flight for 9 years.
My goals are to get up to speed on all the changes to the regs, get back into flying for fun (trips to Key West, Bimini, etc) and do some IFR sim work to get comfortable with round gauges again.
Any advice on where to go/who to call in S. Florida? Anywhere between W. Palm and Homestead is fine. Ideally, it would be at a school or club where I could rent their aircraft after refresher training.
