Any good on-field restaurants in N Florida, or S GA or S Alabama?

Depends how N the N Florida it has to be

KDED - good burgers at Perfect Spot
KXFL - good food too
in S GA there's KAMG - the golf club is a 3 minute drive away, courtesy cars available, or if not - give the golf club a call, they'll drop you a golf cart off - very good and reasonably priced chow. Also nice hotel to stay in, salt water pool etc. I hear golf is good there too, but can't comment, haven't found time to learn to play yet.

PS KAMG is also a great fuel stop - airnav says the fuel there is $5.25/gal

I wonder if Sammy's Touch n Go is still open in Pell City. It was a great place a few years ago.
