I am old enough that I actually watched both Joey Bishop shows.
I was watching the sitcom once (well, it was on in the background) as a kid when Nielsen called. I may have been his only rating. I'll need to note when that was and see how old I was.
I also watched the Joey Bishop talk show with Regis Philbin over Johnny. Regis once walked off on the air over a contract dispute, but he came back in a few weeks.
Joey was very fast with a quip, which is something Sinatra knew.
