Then would the plane not fly backwards? Do you mean it turns clockwise instead of anti-clockwise?

oh what are you talking about. Matt had a VW for a little while and we went on a drive about a mile down the road. something was FUBAR'd with the distributor and it was only firing on about 1 cylinder out of every 4, but it kept running! Now thats reliability right there uh huh.
