Something to make your seats more comfy on the long haul

I am going to OSH. 8hrs flight time. The longest I have flown in 44T was 2.2 hours.
The seats in a '62 vintage aircraft are not what you would call supportive. Has anybody tried the beaded seat covers to make is cooler and more supportive?

Get them reupholstered with new cushions. Or call Sport Aircraft Seats and order their owner-installed seat upholstery.

I got one of these for my C150 last year before a 15 hour round trip to Iowa. Made a huge difference!

I'd like to get them redone eventually but this was a good stop gap for me.

Reminds me of the "Iron Butt" motorcycle riders who do ultra long distances. I seem to recall that - counter intuitively - a harder/ firmer seat is more comfortable in the long run.

I’ve used a Gel cushion for a few years on the 767. It works great.
