Someone should create an AOPA competitor

I got a letter from AOPA asking me to join and get a headset bag. I called and said I was a member already. She said sorry, that would be corrected. I said, Gee, I would like the bag. She said sure and they sent me one. Must be why they have the $91M in reserves in order to cover such unexpected expenses.

...There are probably a hundred different reasons that tie out to political, socioeconomic, cultural, anthropological and several other factors that have absolutely nothing to do with AOPA.

Anthropological is a good angle, considering the age of the GA fleet most of us are flying. :eek:
 
We'd see ALPA and Airlines for America setting the General Aviation policy agenda in Congress and the FAA. I think the difference would be quite noticeable.
