Very sharp controls, love the radial sound, no bad habits, stout landing gear.
Taxing is challenging , pneumatic systems a new world.

Landing gear , new to me, already forgot to retracted it once, and was cruising at 3,000ft thinking why is this so slow today

(better than the other way around though).
Landing speeds are not super fast, Bonanza speeds? 70kts approach.

Will install an angle of attack indicator, after having mine in my 182 1,500hrs , I really miss it on this plane.

This is Awesome! It brings back so many memories! I worked for Yakity Yak (in a way) as an apprentice A&P and built a half dozen of these CJ-6's. I now own 4 of them in various states of assembly....can't wait to replace a few of the leather seals on one and get it back in the air!
