On Thursday, July 18, 2013 with the temperature hovering at 100 degrees and a light cross wind of 4 knots out of the west, I flew my first solo flight and executed three text book takeoffs and landings in SkyVentures 23, a Cessna 172 Skyhawk (N2100S) at Manassas Regional Airport (KHEF). What an awesome experience!!! Certainly a day I will always remember.
