I am looking to find a few other pilots in the KOXR, KCMA, KSZP area that are interested in forming a partnership/club arrangement for some inexpensive flying while having pride of ownership. I am thinking as a start acquiring an IFR capable Cessna 172N, Piper PA28, Beech BE19 (late model), or a Grumman AA5A.
This will be a purchased aircraft (no financing) and will require each to member to able to financially commit to the initial purchase, set up an initial maintenance/engine reserve fund predicated on engine hours, agree to an hourly operating cost, and a monthly overhead cost. (tie-down/insurance/etc…)
I am Private Pilot with Instrument Rating and a High Performance sign off with over 450 hours. I am OK with steam gauges and standard avionics.
