How can I send an SMS message to an Airtel cell phone in India?

I tried PhoneNumber@airtelkol.com but it got bounced back to me. I tried it from Outlook using my e-mail account

Any ideas?

I can't copy it on my phone, but do a google search for:Email airtel india sms

The first result contains a list of email addresses

Maybe the user's number isn't really in Kolkata? Try one of the others. @airtelmail.com seems to be a common one.

Troy- The person is in Kolkatha but I realize a cell company can assign almost anything. The city code is Calcutta...I'll try your suggestion next.
