Oh I don't know about that. Say if you have a butterfly on the iv bag or needle or whatever, I mean wouldnt that cause a fear of butterflies?

I mean I am one of these people who don't mind getting shots just as long as they let the alcohol dry before they stick me. That is what makes it sting so bad in the 1st place, well that and depending on what you are being "shot up" with.
 
I'm not crazy about it but it doesn't really bother me either. If I'm having blood drawn, I will look the other way while they stick me, but then I watch to see how freely the blood comes out. Regular shots are usually with a finer needle.
