Are you certain you wanted to link to a story about an insurer paying out a wad of cash for perhaps the stupidest excuse ever?

It is probably more a matter of dumbest news reporting ever.

I suspect the real award was related to a legal argument related to the truck having defective lights which may have resulted in the deceased's car running into it.

At least I HOPE that was the basis of the settlement.
