For the Bachelors thesis of the Aerospace Engineering study at Delft University of Technology, we, a group of ten third-year students, are assigned to design a small aerobatics aircraft. This aircraft should be optimized to fly in the Red Bull Air Race, beating all current models used in the race.

One of the aspects of the project is to investigate the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the aircraft to be designed. For the preliminary stages of this project we are investigating similar aircraft on these properties. We would like to ask you to fill in a short question form below such that we can gather some information. Any input or help is appreciated.

- Which aircraft model do you fly?
- How many flights and flight hours do you make per year?
- What aspects do you like/dislike about your aircraft? (e.g. Handling, visibility, instruments, comfort, etc.)
- How often do failures occur with minor consequences? (minor: no immediate repair required)
- How often do failures occur with major consequences? (major: immediate repair required)
- What are the regular maintenance intervals and what is the downtime associated with them?
- What is the average downtime apart from the regular maintenance?
