SL30 Checksum error? Anyone??

I am getting a Incorrect Calibration Checksum on a new to me SL30.. it shows at startup and then I can press any key and use it normally..

Also if I go into settings and change output to resolver then back to serial it works for a few restarts and then happens again.

I was playing with it on battery and not running.. possibly low voltage? I haven’t had a chance to try it yet with engine running..

The manual just says contact factory.. has anyone seen this?

What CDI are you driving with the serial output?

It’s connected to my dual G5.. even with Serail turned off it still does it.

I got nuthin' except to say contact the guys at Garmin AT in Salem. Maybe EEPROM can be reflashed? Doubt it's voltage, but a VOM could put that to bed real quick.
