SkyBeacon and GMU-11 interference?

In the process of installing a G5 HSI in my airplane, with the GMU 11 magnetometer going in the left wingtip. I'm also considering, in the next few months, getting a SkyBeacon to satisfy ADS-B out requirements. Anyone have any thoughts on whether the SkyBeacon is likely to cause interference with the GMU11? They'd be mounted no more than 18" apart (if that far).

You'll want to ensure the Skybeacon uses shielded wires AND that those wires are as far from the magnetometer as possible. I recently had to relocate one due to its proximity (< 10") to strobe wires.
