For the last two days I have been unable to get a Skew-t Chart cloud top to work. Anyone else having a problem?

Feels like some kind of NOAA server issue unlikely to get fixed on a weekend. The Java one throws an error, the Javascript one input box doesn't pop-up at all; the more limited static one sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

The privately created one at https://skewt.meteor.com seems operational, so if you have some alternate non-NOAA links give them a try.

I wondered if it was just me. Couldn't get into the rucsoundings site, but was able to look at the Unisys site which isn't as user friendly.

I've got to go back and relearn how to use that thing. Any tips?

I've found it sometimes to be airport specific or regional.
Check other parts of the country and it still works.
So, is the problem with the local NOAA office or the national office?
(I know, if you can't get the local one, where the problem exists isn't relevant; but just something I've noticed)

One of Scott's courses is probably best for in-depth understanding. But there is a pretty good 2-part presentation on it on YouTube from Ed Williams:

This is my playlist that has both of them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pMYkSwZp0g&list=PLmolGJZEeVA4VIpYwo-feAb5hU4CQUynS

Disclaimer: It's not my program but I thought it was so good that I did the conversion of it for Ed to self-running videos for YouTube.
