Got to meet up with Chris and his wife Brook this morning for a little formation flight up to Sedona. I got some neat pictures and a video of the flight. I got a good picture of Nick taking a picture of ...me.

The last picture is actually a field trip Nick and I took Wednesday after work.

Pictures coming soon. Best part of the flight? Michael's struggling to climb, Chris's Bonanza is literally doing circles to keep him with us. And I mean literally.

Not sure how far back Chris was throttled, but he's one hell of a formation guy.

Edit: Joking aside, this was a really, really fun trip, and Sedona is a great place, with really good food! I suggest it to everyone!

Dude, I should have checked this sub-forum first. I posted a few pics of the flight here. Had a blast today!

Michael, Nick and April are cool folks if you ever get to this part of the country.

Oh, and that Cirrus we saw, I have a feeling its from a flight school. I noticed it had no wheel pants. So that might have been where you recognized it from.

Did I mention that the Mooney was clean? No greasy belly here. I think Michael knew there was a camera crew on board.

Looks like you had a great day for flying. I got in 3 hours in the Arrow this afternoon to reset the insurance clock (got to log 3 hours in a 180 day period, or get signed off by a CFI again, and it had been over 160 days ). Went down to Mt. St. Helens (see attached pictures) and then shot T&Gs at a few airports. Nice and clear when I started, but a cold front is coming in and it was windy, cold and lowering ceilings by the time I called it quits. Good crosswind landing practice. That closeup show how it is difficult to aim a camera out the pilot's vent window accurately while still maintaining control of the plane. Notice the smoke. That thing is still extruding lava in large quantities.
