Hey guys, assuming my 1998 182 passes the ppi today, I'll be its new owner on Thursday.

I'd like to get this book, but can't find it a publisher or book sellor.

If you'd sell me yours, send me a pm.

Thanks!

Are you referring to the POH, AFM or what?

1998 is new enough any publication associated with that aircraft should be available from Cessna and/or Esso.

I was able to get a new manual for a 1978 R182 from Cessna. It's pricey but they do have it.

If it's not a manual, what exactly are you looking for regarding "pilot's companion"?

I haven't heard back from an email I sent to the address on that website last week.

See your PM.

I have a copy and it is essential for a Skylane Pilot. You probably don't have enough money to buy my copy, but you can join the Cessna Pilots Association (www.cessna.org) and one of those folks may have a copy.

BTW, I consider a CPA membership as essential to happy Cessna ownership as the Skylane Pilots Companion...:D

I read it. I loved it, but it doesn't apply in all cases to the new Skylanes. Beware of some of the advice in there, but enjoy the reading. I just loved it.
