I'm currently on SI Glaucoma as a glaucoma suspect. My visual field is still perfect but my pressure is slowly creeping up (18 now) and my ophthalmologist recommends SLT as a first line of defense (no drops yet). Is there a specific timeline that FAA wants me to ground myself? What's the process to report this to the FAA? Submit 8500-14 and visual fields when I am due for my medical again or I need to do that immediately?

Thank you!

nope. Just until our pressures stabilize and your eye doc writes "return to usual duties".

Your SI likely has the "report adverse change" statement. When you get this note from your doc, obtain Humphries, 8500-7, Op note, office visit follow and go get reissued. If it doesn't, you can wait until next medical.
