Filing Flight Plan
Hello,
I'm planning a month-long coast-to-coast trip next summer in April, May or June. One option I'm exploring is leasing the plane from a private owner, rather than renting hourly from my usual club. I expect to put approximately 70 hours on the Hobbs over one calendar month.
I am most interested in a 172R/S/SP. I would also consider a 182, since I plan to do that transition training at some point anyway. Dual-axis AP would be a plus.
I have approximately 130 total hours, all in 172s under VFR. I'm based at JYO but would be willing to consider driving 2-3 hours for pickup.
If you would be willing to consider leasing me your plane, and are relatively close to DC, please contact me.
