Second Ticking Over Intercom Audio

Anyone know what would cause a ticking noise every one second over the intercom audio? It only occurs when the radio is on. It is very low but noticeable when no one is talking. Turning the panel volume or the radio volume knob does nothing on the audio level of the ticking.

Start turning things off one at a time until it quits. If everything is off then its your ANR headset auto shut off feature?
