Final Approach
For anyone in south or central Florida, the 90th Sebring aerobatic contest will be next Friday and Saturday, 24 and 25 April.
If you are in the area and interested in checking it out, stop on by. The FBO has a restaurant with excellent breakfast. You'll see a contest tent north of the FBO where you can watch from and converse with pilots.
There is a NOTAM describing pattern changes, and also a notice on ATIS. It's really not a big deal, just note the right patterns on runways 14 and 18, and approach the airfield from the south or west to avoid the box. The organizers will have spotters watching out for aircraft entering the box to warn contest aircraft to break off.
