Yeah, I remember a couple of decades ago there was one forecaster that was struggling to forecast when the fog would mix out at Dulles Airport for the TAF. He initially forecast it to mix out around 9 am...that didn't happen...amended the TAF to say 11 am...that didn't happen...moved it to 1 pm and commented in the 18Z AFD that "he should have been a farmer."
