Fake video! We all know Bryan won’t bank more than five degrees, let alone do intentional stalls. good stuff, @SixPapaCharlie
Great vid! I'm just jealous looking at all that nice flat land, around here an engine out means eating bark.
Thanks for Sharing Mike! Next in the queue is my race against Christy Wong (My Traveler vs. her Warrior) and then my uber serious review of these things that I bought from Sporty's: https://www.sportys.com/pilotshop/vfr-training-goggles.html
The reviews in that link to the Sporty's site are hysterical. I suspect the upcoming video review will be as well.
add these to the list.... Updated Motion Sickness Smart Glasses, Raised Airsick Sickness Seasickness Lensless Glasses for Sport Travel Gaming, No Lens Liquid Glasses for Adults Kids (White) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SYJBR5T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_Zpm7EbF7E4NWT
WTFF are those things? I think 6PC needs an Elton John song in the background if he wears these suckers...
This is the all time best product review - all 6,000 of them https://www.amazon.com/Hutzler-571-Banana-Slicer/product-reviews/B0047E0EII
We know Bryan has been working on his instrument rating and will get that finished someday and eventually work in the next step to becoming an actual CFI. But somehow, I see the video produced during his learning being more about pilot commercials (up to the level of what we see during the Super Bowl) than learning steep spirals, power off 180’s, and other commercial pilot items.
Just don’t tell me what he did to the goat to make it scream. Some things I just don’t want to know about....
I'm late to the post...but just happened to have watched it earlier today! and yes, a riot as always! Serious question.... well I guess it's only serious if Bryan was being serious about the delay! Bryan...why the 5 second delay? If it's real, there must be some reason they would have done that. Maybe a lot of false alarms in certain flight conditions?
It really does have a 5 second delay. It's only a handful of models they did that and I believe the reasoning was they didn't want to start with a pilot with false alarms when there is turbulence by having it chirp at the pilot.
I would think 1/2 second delay would be enough to fix that. I agree with you, I’d replace that immediately. That’s weird. If I’m close enough to stall speed that turbulence is kicking off the stall alarm, I’d want to know that. My stall alarm will chirp a bit in turbulence if I’m close to stall speed (20 knots). I consider that a good thing.
You weren’t paying attention...it wasn’t the airplane he stalled, it was the airport...but the airport was actually an inverted stall, so it got closer to the airplane when it stalled. You can tell because the airplane is stationary in front of the camera.
